Before bed I like to run a bath for myself. There's nothing more soothing to me than a hot bath with some sort of bath solution to relax me and prep me for bed. Something about getting out of the bath, drying off and then snuggling in those warm blankets just gets me going. To try something new, my friend Jess brought over this herbal product that you use in the bath and let me tell you... it's to die for. I feel like I am getting the royal treatment. I just clsoe my eyes and picture naked men all around me *sigh*. I think I'm going to start using natural products more often.

Makeup for Holidays

I want to give my mom a beauty makeover for a XMAS present. Does this sound retarded? I am already thinking of gifts in advance and since I'm applying to makeup artist school, I figured it would be a wonderful start/experiment. So we'll see what happens. She needs a new look... I think she'd be flattered.

I am doing a survey for my school newspaper under the "beauty" section. What is your favorite lipstick product? Revlon? Mac? Anything that has great color? Additionally, what do you look for in a lipstick. Matte finish, gloss, sparkle? I'm just curious. Also, what is your price range.

I hate Weird Colored Lipstick

I hate weird colored lipstick. Why do cosmetic companies even make purple and black lipsticks? I mean cmon really... sure blue is cool, purple is even cooler, and yellow may actually be amazing. But on your lips? It just doesn't look good. You'd have to be pretty AMAZING to pull it off. Somehow my friend Kristy disagrees. haha.

I have a new favorite lipstick company and shade. Yes, I'm cheating on Maybelline, I know. Too bad for cosmetic rivalries, but I can't get enough.

It's called Colorstay lipstick and it is AMAZING. I tried it last night on my boyfriend and it didn't come off, or stain his lips. My favorite shade is the color you see above.

You guys should all try it.
