Lipstick Survey

I am doing a survey for my school newspaper under the "beauty" section. What is your favorite lipstick product? Revlon? Mac? Anything that has great color? Additionally, what do you look for in a lipstick. Matte finish, gloss, sparkle? I'm just curious. Also, what is your price range.

THanks!

Hi! It is now 2007 and you have probably graduated from school by now but I hope to answer your question. I prefer any lipstick that doesn't come off on my teeth; I used to have big problems with that. I spent too much time blotting during the day, and then I knew that I had to carry tissue in my purse for this reason, and if I didn't have tissue, I knew I was in trouble.

Anyway, that was the problem I had with regular lipsticks, or even creamy lipsticks. I really liked the cream texture of those lipsticks but they just wouldn't stay put. I even tried sticking my finger in my mouth and pulling it out to remove the excess lipstick, but I just ended up with a wet finger that had lipstick on it + lipstick on my teeth! Yuck!It was just a mess! So I tried matte; I was willing to try anything at that point; I got tired of retouching my lipstick, blotting, reapplying, ect.

Now MATTE certainly stayed put on my lips; it was great! The colors seemed deep and rich, and explosive on my lips! However, my lips suffered from being so incredibly dry! The matte lipsticks seemed to suck every ounce of moisture from my lips and they flaked and peeled all the time because of that. I looked around and saw that most if not all women were dealing with those same problems. Why doesn't lipstick behave? I mixed regular lipstick with the matte just to have an ounce of moisture in my lips for a while.

Then I sat down and wrote down the things that I really wanted from a lipstick. I then wrote a mock-formula and consulted a cosmetics chemist. I now have my own line of extrordinary lipsticks! I have never experienced the moisture and satisfaction from a lipstick as I have from my own creation. My formula for lipstick is now patented. It is everything I felt a matte lipstick should be. The kind of moisture in my mattes is incredible. It's not thick and cake-like on my lips. I don't have to reapply during the day anymore except when I have lunch. The color doesn't move, doesn't get on my teeth; it stays exactly where I put it: on my lips. Plus I'm not afraid to kiss my partner while wearing my formulated lipstick.

The lipstick is "durable", if that makes since. I can't believe I actually "made" this; I "accidentally" made it, stumbled onto it. This is new and I am just now begining to sell. I can't wait for women to use this and realize the full potential of matte lipstick and lipstick in general. It doesn't have to be tedious anymore. my products are on amazon & ebay for now, and they're called Gigolo For Lips and I have never stopped using the lipstick since the first time I began using it!
